Every crystal on this page is chosen by hand at our shop on Camden Walk in Angel, Islington, where we have been selling them since 2016. If you are ever nearby, come and hold a few. Choosing a crystal in person is a different thing entirely to choosing one on a screen, and we are always happy to talk you through them.

Not sure where to start

Most people arrive with a reason rather than a stone in mind, so here is roughly how our customers choose.

• Crystals for protection and grounding. Black tourmaline, obsidian and smoky quartz are the ones people reach for most.
• Crystals for anxiety and a busy head. Amethyst, lepidolite and blue lace agate.
• Crystals for sleep. Amethyst again, usually kept by the bed, along with selenite.
• Crystals for love and self kindness. Rose quartz, almost always.
• Crystals for confidence. Citrine, carnelian and tiger's eye.

None of this is medicine and we would never pretend otherwise. Crystals are objects that people find meaningful, and for most of our customers that is reason enough.

Tumbled, raw, bracelets and sets

Tumbled stones are smooth, pocket sized and inexpensive, which is why they are where most crystals for beginners start. Raw crystals are uncut and keep their natural edges, so they suit a shelf or a windowsill better than a pocket. A crystal bracelet lets you carry a stone through the day. Our crystal sets group several stones around one theme, and they are far and away the crystal gifts people buy most often here.

Looking after them

Cleansing your crystals is simpler than the internet makes it sound. Most people use moonlight overnight, incense smoke, or a selenite plate. Avoid water with anything soft or porous, selenite and malachite especially, because it will damage them.
