Long, elegant and lunar, this ceramic ash catcher displays the phases of the moon along its length while keeping incense ash tidily contained. The stoneware is finished with a wax resist technique, giving it the gentle irregularity of a handmade piece.

At roughly 26cm long it accommodates full-size incense sticks, which sit at a slight angle so ash drops into the channel as they burn. It comes from Something Different's Phase de Lune celestial homeware range, designed in the UK, and looks just as good empty as it does in use. Wipe it clean between sticks.
