Soft, sweet and distinctly rosy, geranium is one of aromatherapy's best-loved floral oils, and Tisserand sources this one through its ethically harvested programme, meaning the plants are responsibly cultivated and gathered in a way that protects the species for the future.

The oil is steam distilled from fragrant geranium leaves grown in Egypt, and the 9ml bottle contains nothing but the pure essential oil, free from synthetic fragrance, parabens and animal-derived ingredients. It is a lovely choice for unwinding at the end of the day: add six to eight drops to a diffuser, four to six drops to 20ml of carrier oil swirled into a bath, or five drops per 10ml of blending oil for massage. Geranium sits well alongside lavender, bergamot and other florals. For external use only and never undiluted on the skin.
